FIXING STRUCTURE OF ELECTRIC STEERING LOCK DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress favorably noise emission originating from vibrations of a motor in an electric steering lock device.

SOLUTION: A spacer 20 formed in a ring shape and having a thickness reduced toward the insertion side to the clearance CL is fixed to a spring bearing seat 16 through a coil spring 21. When this electric steering lock device is fixed to the vehicle body, the spacer 20 is inserted into the clearance CL generated between the inside surface of an opening 31 formed in the side wall of a cylindrical steering tube 30 to admit insertion of the steering shaft of a vehicle and the peripheral surface of the forefront of a guide part 12.
