PRESS FIT TERMINAL AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press fit terminal capable of maintaining an excellent contact state with a through hole by preventing poor contact due to vibration etc.

SOLUTION: The press fit terminal 1 comprises a press fit part 2, a terminal base part 3 and a male terminal part 4. The press fit part 2 comprises a contact part 5 formed in a shape easily contacting a through hole 12 and a pressing part 6 formed with an elastic body. The pressing part 6 is fitted in an opening of the contact part 5. The pressing part 6 applies elastic force to the contact part 5 so that the contact part 5 is pressed to the through hole 12.
