PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress increase of cost while ensuring a space above a shock-absorber in a saddle riding type vehicle. SOLUTION: The saddle riding type vehicle is provided with: a rear arm 4 having a front end turnably connected to a vehicle body (5) through a first connection shaft 11 and a rear end connected to a rear wheel 7; a connection member 2 having one end turnably connected to the rear arm 4 through a second connection shaft 12; a link 3 turnably connected to the vehicle body (5) through a third connection shaft 13 and turnably connected to the other remaining end of the connection member 2 through a fourth connection shaft 14; and the shock-absorber 6 having a lower end turnably connected to the link 3 through a fifth connection shaft 15. A lower end 6b of the shock-absorber 6 is positioned below a plane A including a central axis of the second connection shaft 12 and the fourth connection shaft 14 positioned at both ends of the connection member 2 in the state of the shock-absorber 6 being stretched, and the connection member 2 is made to a downwardly curved constitution so as to avoid interference with the shock-absorber 6 in the stretched state.
