PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid state imaging device in which the optical intensity can be optimized for every color. SOLUTION: In the solid state imaging device comprising a large number of photoelectric conversion elements, and a large number of microlenses formed above the large number of photoelectric conversion elements through no gap, the focal length of each of the large number of microlenses depends on the color detected by a photoelectric conversion element existing under each microlens.
