PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching device which enables inputting of a plurality of signals corresponding to slide movement, secures a contact pressure of a contact part, and provides large application force. SOLUTION: The switching device is provided with: a base 1 with a common fixed contact 2 and a plurality of separate fixed contacts 3 arranged; a slide member 4 housed in the base 1 so as to slide and move; an elastic member 7 for energizing the slide member 4 in one direction; and a movable contact member 6 which is conducted to the common fixed contact 2 and slide-contacts with the plurality of the separate fixed contacts 3. The slide member 4 is provided with a driving plate 5 which abuts on one end side of the elastic member 7 and moves in an energizing direction of the elastic member 7. The movable contact member 6 is formed in a ball shape, is sandwiched between the slide member 4 and the driving plate 5 to hold the slide member so as to be driven. The movable contact member 6 is energized in a direction for slide-contacting with the plurality of the separate fixed contacts 3 by an elastic pressure of the elastic member 7, and the movable contact member 6 is press-contact with the plurality of the separate fixed contacts 3.
