PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cable whose handling easiness is increased by making the optical fiber cable soft, and which is free of the risk that a coated optical fiber is cut or broken even when the optical fiber cable deforms by bending, extension, etc. SOLUTION: The optical fiber cable of the present invention comprises a tension member 11 made of a soft material, the coated optical fiber 12 curved along the tension member 11, and a sheath 13 covering the coated optical fiber 12 and tension member 11.
