PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel product in which precipitates are finely dispersed and grain growth is suppressed and also to provide a continuous casting method by which alloying elements can be added, uniformly in high yield, into a cast slab in order to obtain the steel product. SOLUTION: (1) The steel product can be obtained by hot rolling using a continuously cast slab as a stock and contains C, Si, Mn, P, S, Ti, N and Al, further contains one or more elements among Mo, Cu, Nb, V, Ni, Cr and B, and further contains 0.00005 to 0.001% each of Ag and Mg or contains, in addition to these Ag and Mg, 0.00005 to 0.001% Bi and also has a structure in which precipitates are finely dispersed. The steel product can further contain one or more elements among Ca, Nd and Sn. (2) The continuous steel casting method is characterized in that metal vapors and/or particles of the metallic elements, such as Ag, Mg and Bi, are supplied into molten steel together with a carrier gas through an immersion lance which is dipped in the molten steel in a tundish or a mold.
