PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive composition having strong adhesive force to glass and a metal, and high long-term adhesion retention even in a high-humidity atmosphere, and suitable as an adhesive for an electronic component especially a liquid crystal display, an EL display, a solar battery or the like requiring long-term reliability. SOLUTION: The adhesive composition for the electronic component contains (A) a polymerizable compound, (B) a photopolymerization initiator, and (C) a silane coupling agent having a specific structure and/or (D) a phosphoric acid group-containing polymerizable monomer.
