PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewage treatment apparatus which enables totally miniaturization and continuous sewage treatment with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: The sewage treatment apparatus 100 comprises a treatment tank 100A, a first receiving vessel 10 which is mounted on the bottom part in this treatment tank 100A, opens the upper end at the center of the treatment tank 100A and makes the lower end into a first discharge port 51 below the treatment tank 100A, a sewage supply pipe 30 which opens at the lower part of the treatment tank 100A and supplies sewage from a sewage tank 60 while forming a vortex of the sewage around the first receiving vessel 10, a current plate 40 which is placed above the first receiving inlet 10, and a second discharge port 52 which is derived from above the current plate 40 to outside the treatment tank 100A and discharges water purified in the treatment tank 100A.
