The machining centre consists of at least two spindles (101, 102, 103), designed to receive the required tools, at least one tool magazine to realise the automatic tool changes and at least one locking table (106, 107), designed to hold at least two work pieces. A control unit is designed to control the procedures for operating, the spindles and the tool magazines and the various programmes for machining the work pieces. The control unit is designed to arrange the machining programmes in such a way that the spindles are operated with minimum stoppages. |
