<p>A method for providing modulation and encoding mode used in multicast service macro-diversity, includes following steps: firstly, in MBS area, transmits message including the related information of modulation and encoding mode used in MBS area; MSS receives the message of step above, resolves other message according to the related information of modulation and encoding included in the message, and receives the MBS service data according to the result of resolving other message of MBS area. A method for defining modulation and encoding mode used in multicast macro-diversity is also disclosed. The present invention resolves the problem of prior art which needs an entity to uniformly manage the definition of encoding and modulation in respective cell, and needs to continuously track the change of DCD count in DL-MAP message. The present scheme realizes uniformly managing the related message by MBS Server, which is different from the prior art for introducing new entity to uniformly customize DCD message. The present scheme enables the receiving equipment not to monitor the related message of present cell continuously, therefore reducing the power consuming.</p> |
