<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery with a large electrode area and excellent large-current charge/discharge characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes a first current collecting material 1, an Li metal layer or an Li-X alloy layer A fitted on the surface of the first collecting material (provided, X denotes one or more kinds selected from Al, Ag, Sn, and Pb; the same goes in the following), an active layer 3 fitted on the Li metal layer or the Li-X alloy layer, and a second current collecting material 5 fitted on the above active layer. The active layer 3 is composed of (1) a first layer B in contact with the Li metal layer or the Li-X alloy layer and with a nitroxide radical polymer 4 and the Li metal material or an Li-X alloy material mingled, and (2) a second layer C mainly composed of a nitroxide radical polymer, and the Li metal material or the Li-X alloy material is in electric conduction with the Li metal layer or the Li-X alloy layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
