<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably contact with an electrode in one point at a contact position and smoothly carry out its connection operation even if the size of the electrode in electrical contact such as a contact pad is small. <P>SOLUTION: A socket contact 120 is provided at a connector 100 for electronic component connection equipped with an opening 110 for a module 210 to be inserted into. The socket contact 120 contacts with the electrode 215 of the module 210 in a direction crossing the connection direction of the module 210 at its tip when the module 210 is inserted. The socket contact 120 has a contact part 123 equipped with a contact body 127 protruded from a base end side into an opening 110, and a contact point 128 fitted at the tip of the contact body 127.
