<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for secondary battery enabling it to realize the secondary battery superior in both a volume energy density and a volume output density. <P>SOLUTION: This is the electrode for secondary battery in which an electrode active material layer (I) containing spinel structure lithium manganate as the electrode active material, and the electrode active material layer (II) containing a complex oxide expressed by a formula as the electrode active material are laminated in the thickness direction of the electrode, in which the electrode active material layer (I) is arranged in contact with a current collector, and in which the average particle diameter of the complex oxide is smaller than that of the spinel structure lithium manganate. In the formula, M is at least one kind selected from a group consisting of Al, Ga, and In, V expresses an atomic ratio of Co and 0≤V≤0.5, X expresses the atomic ratio of Ni and 0.3≤X<1.0, Y expresses the atomic ratio of Mn and 0≤Y≤0.5, and Z expresses the atomic ratio of M and 0≤Z≤0.1, and v+x+y+z=1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
