摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an R-T-B-C sintered magnet, having high magnetic characteristics with suppressed heat generation due to eddy current and reduced loss in a fluctuating magnetic field. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the R-T-B-C sintered magnet (R denotes Ce, Pr, Nd Tb or Dy, and T denotes Fe) is configured, in such a way that 1-20% R-T-B-C sintering aid alloy, containing 50-65%(wt.%) R, 0.3-0.9% B, 0.01-0.5% C, 0.1-1.0% Al, 0.1-5.0% Cu and the balance T, is blended with an alloy powder containing 10-50% R-O<SB>1-x</SB>-F<SB>1+2x</SB>(x is an arbitrary real number) and/or R-F<SB>y</SB>(y is 2 or 3), and the balance as 25-35% R, 0.8-1.4% B, 0.01-0.5% C, 0.1-1.0% Al, and having a main phase consisting of R-T-B-C of the balance T, and the product is pulverized in a jet mill, molded in a magnetic field, sintered and thermally treated.
