<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zeolite building material which can exhibit various excellent effects inherent to zeolite, i.e., which can be not only sufficiently usable as, for example, internal and external walls of buildings, sound-insulating walls, tunnel lining walls, etc., but also can exhibit satisfactory damp-proofing properties without clogging the pores of the zeolite, and is extremely highly practical. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for producing the zeolite building material exhibiting the environmental conservation action, such as environmental purification and environmental regulation, the zeolite, and an inorganic binder containing at least one of sodium carbonate, sodium hydrogen carbonate, magnesium oxide, or sodium hydroxide are mixed, and then the mixture of the zeolite and the inorganic binder is subjected to press molding, and subsequently the press molded body is fired at a temperature higher than 100°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
