<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To handle the storage areas of a memory card and storage disk as one storage area. <P>SOLUTION: A storage device is provided with; a host interface (104) for transmitting and receiving information to/from a host device; a command processing part (105) which executes processing corresponding to a command transmitted from the host device via the host interface; a storage disk device (107) which stores information; a slot (109) in which a memory card is mounted; and a logical address management table (106) in which logical addresses on a memory card and a disk device are unified and stored.
