<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumed by the temperature control of a heated object (photoreceptor drum) when a main body apparatus (image forming apparatus) does not work. <P>SOLUTION: While the image forming apparatus is working, the temperature of the photoreceptor drum 14 is controlled by using a triac 905 and an energizing control means (a thermopile type temperature sensor 902, a receiver circuit 903 and a control circuit 904), thereby securing required temperature control accuracy. Meanwhile, when the image forming apparatus does not work, the temperature of the photoreceptor drum 14 is controlled by using a thermal lead switch 906, thereby reducing power consumption in the image forming apparatus when the image forming apparatus does not work. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
