<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drastically shorten a processing time required for a correction control and frequently perform the correction control, consequently, to secure a high quality image without causing the reduction of productivity in image forming processing. <P>SOLUTION: Colors having the same scanning direction of light beam related to a photoreceptor are grouped into the same group, and only black and yellow resist patterns PK and PY as typical colors selected for every group are formed at respective detecting positions of resist sensors 32a and 32c, the state of the positional change of other colors belonging to the same group is predicted based on the obtained state of the positional change of black and yellow as the typical colors, then, information on the positional deviation of each color other than the reference color from the reference color in the main scanning direction is obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
