<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of outputting an image of high image quality, free from misalignment related to each color, and to provide an image forming method and an image forming program. <P>SOLUTION: A transfer condition acquiring part 131 acquires a transfer condition related to image information from the image information. A subscanning correction value calculation part 133 specifies a subscanning delay amount correction value from a subscanning delay amount correction value storage part 134 that stores delay amount correction value information where the transfer condition showing the transfer information is correlated with the subscanning delay amount correction value showing the correction value in the subscanning direction for each color based on the transfer condition acquired by the transfer condition acquiring part 131.
