<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller for surely preventing a loss of synchronization in a stepping motor, and an image forming apparatus with the motor controller. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is provided with: a leading edge detecting sensor 78 for detecting a leading edge of a recording paper sheet passing through a fixing unit; an engine controller 80 having a CPU 83 for controlling a motor driving driver 82, a stepping motor 81 for rotating an ejecting roller 76; the motor driving driver 82 for controlling and driving the stepping motor 81; and a rotation detecting unit 90 for detecting a rotation of the ejecting roller 76 rotated by obtaining a drive force from the stepping motor 81. The CPU 83 is provided with a frequency controlling means 86 for controlling a drive frequency applied to the stepping motor 81, and a slow-up activation determining means 87 for determining a slow-up start of the stepping motor 81, based on a detection signal outputted from the rotation detecting unit 90. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
