<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass molding apparatus capable of controlling the temperature of a molding die by a simple constitution, and to provide a glass molding method. <P>SOLUTION: The glass molding apparatus 1 has a mold base 4 on which a molding die 2 is mounted, a pressure device 11 for pressurizing the molding die 2 and a heater block 5 for heating the die 2, and is provided characteristically with: a temperature sensor 9 for detecting the temperature of the die 2; the air cylinders 61, 62 for freely advancing or retreating the heater block 5 with respect to the die 2; and a controller for approximating/separating the heater block 5 to/from the die 2 by reciprocating the air cylinders 61, 62 so that the temperature of the die 2 becomes a prescribed set value on the basis of that temperature detected by the sensor 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
