PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent image data of an original with a background pattern from being performed image formation on such a copying paper in which effect of the background pattern image is not guaranteed. SOLUTION: When an outputting paper is set as a colored paper, even if printing of the background pattern image is to be performed, an alarm display about existence of capability of an effect of the background pattern image of not being guaranteed is to be performed, or a color of the most suitable background pattern image is to be decided based on color information of the colored paper.
