PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus improved in reliability of accuracy in the contact of the contact part of an electrode structure by a simple configuration. SOLUTION: The casing 40 is provided with an opening/closing type top cover 48 that covers an opening 40b formed at the top of a stir chamber 4. The electrode structure 70 includes: an electrode terminal 72 connected to a bias power source 71; a first conductive member 73 disposed on the casing 40 and connected to the electrode terminal 72; a second conductive member 74 disposed on the top cover 48 and connected to the first conductive member 73; and a third conductive member 75 disposed on the casing 40 and conducting electricity between the second conductive member 74 and the developing roller 44. The first conductive member 73 has a connection hole 73a. The second conductive member 74 is provided with a connection end 74a elastically bent. While the top cover 48 is closed, the connection end 74a is elastically deformed and inserted into the connection hole 73a and consequently the first and second conductive members 73 and 74 are made conductive.
