PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reaction container capable of easily dispensing even a very small amount of a liquid, and an analyzer. SOLUTION: The reaction container 6 is equipped with a dispensation holding part for holding a dispensed liquid and a photometric holding part which holds the liquid fed from a dispensation holding part, has at least one set of parallel light transmission surfaces opposed to each other and constant prescribes the light path length of light for measuring the optical characteristics of the liquid and constituted so that the dispensation holding part and the photometric holding part are formed at mutually different positions. The analyzer 1 is equipped with dispensing parts 2 and 3 for dispensing the liquid to the dispensation holding part formed to the container 6 and a photometric part 9 different from the dispensation holding part at the position of the container and measuring the optical characteristics of the liquid held to the photometric holding part to which the stirred liquid is fed.
