PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a liquid storage container which enables an assembly of an elastic mechanism into the container without damaging a flexible sheet and consequently can make the container liquid-proof, and a liquid storage container. SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing the liquid storage container comprises compressing a spring unit 15 inside a recessed-shape frame 11 first, and connecting the flexible sheet 106 to the frame 11 by molding it to the shape of an inner surface of the latter 11.
