PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength stabilization apparatus which simplifies a photoelectric circuit structure in a light transmitting device without using a strength modulator and does not reduce the light strength of the light signal output from a semiconductor laser. SOLUTION: The wavelength stabilization apparatus is equipped with a semiconductor laser which outputs the light modulated at a predetermined wavelength by being modulated with a data signal directly, a wavelength controller which controls the wavelength of the semiconductor laser by outputting a wavelength setting signal, a sine wave signal source which produces a sine wave signal, an adding device which adds the wavelength setting signal to the sine wave signal and applies the added signal to the semiconductor laser, a light filter which transmits the light signal output from the semiconductor laser at a transmission factor correspondent to the wavelength, a photoelectric converter which converts the light signal transmitted through the light filter to an electric signal, and a control signal detector which samples a sine wave signal from the electric signal output from the photoelectric converter and sends the control signal based on the sampled period signal to the wavelength controller.
