PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a display which has improved manufacturing efficiency, and also to provide the display and electronic equipment. SOLUTION: A column spacer 57 can be formed by using a bank film 71 forming banks B1 and B2, so that neither a new material nor a new step is needed and the manufacturing efficiency can be improved. The column spacer 67 can be formed in a region where a TFT element 30 is formed, different from a display region where a pixel electrode 19 is present, so that transmission efficiency or reflection efficiency in the display region to light can be improved in addition to the effects.
