PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a yellow toner for electrostatic image development by which when the toner is manufactured by suspension polymerization, there is less risk of environmental pollution in disposal and by-product irregular toner is less. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a yellow toner for electrostatic image development includes the steps of: forming liquid droplets by dispersing a polymerizable monomer composition comprising a polymerizable monomer comprising a monovinyl monomer and a yellow colorant in an aqueous dispersion medium; and obtaining yellow colored resin particles comprising a binder which is a polymer of the polymerizable monomer and the yellow colorant by carrying out polymerization, wherein the yellow colorant is a halogen element-free pigment and the polymerizable monomer composition further comprises an aluminum coupling agent in an amount of 0.01-1.0 part by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the monovinyl monomer.
