PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary scaffolding unit capable of moving a temporary scaffolding toward the upper floor side with the progress of building work. SOLUTION: This temporary scaffolding unit for use in building an elevator shaft in a building has a support stage 10 retractably provided with engaging pieces 13 engaged with brackets 5a on the building side, and a scaffolding base stage 20 retractably provided with engaging pieces 23 engaged with brackets 52 on the building side. The scaffolding base stage 20 and multiple stages of built-up workbenches 31-33 form a scaffolding assembly 30. The scaffolding assembly 30 is driven upward in the state of the support stage 10 being supported by a building frame, and the support stage 10 is driven upward in the state of the scaffolding assembly being supported by the building frame. The temporary scaffolding unit is thus driven to the upper floor side with the progress of building work to construct the elevator shaft. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
