PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyvinyl alcohol-based film for optical use, free from bleeding out of a plasticizer, and providing an oriented film the optical strain of which is reduced when the film is subjected to orientation while swelling. SOLUTION: The polyvinyl alcohol-based film for the optical use comprises a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin composition containing a plasticizer. The content of the plasticizer (B) having 100-200 molecular weight and 40-300°C melting point is 15-40 wt.% based on the polyvinyl alcohol-based resin (A). COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
