PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an amorphous fluorine-containing resin by which the amorphous fluorine-containing resin having excellent ultraviolet permeability can be obtained by a simple method having productivity higher than that by a conventional method of treating with fluorine gas. SOLUTION: The method for producing the amorphous fluorine-containing resin involves irradiation treatment of amorphous fluorine-containing resin or a molded article thereof with ultraviolet rays. As a result, the amorphous fluorine-containing resin or the molded article thereof having the excellent ultraviolet permeability can be obtained by a simple method having productivity higher than that by the conventional method of treating with the fluorine gas.
