PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of an interior part devised to prevent cost increase due to a cushioning material constituted as a separate body in conventional technology and increase of mounting manhours by leaving a part of an end cloth part to be cut off as it is without cutting it off and using it as the cushioning material between a mounting piece of the interior part and a mounting hole on the mounted part side. SOLUTION: The mounting piece 14 formed on a core material main body 12 is constituted to be engaged in a mounting hole part 16a on the side of an instrument panel 16 so as to mount a front pillar garnish 11 constituted by covering a surface of the core material main body 12 with a skin material 13 on the instrument panel 16. The cushioning material 15 to prevent generation of low level sound due to colliding contact of the mounting piece 14 and the mounting hole 16a is constituted by covering the back surface side of the mounting piece 14 formed on the core material main body 12 with a skin material extended part 13a formed by integrally extending the skin material 13 covering the surface side of the mounting piece 14 through the core material main body 12.
