PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable air vent capable of smoothly exhausting a gas from a cavity provided at a mold of a mold forming apparatus, thereby the occurrence of bubbles in a molded resin or a step on a surface of it can be dissolved. SOLUTION: The mold forming apparatus is provided with an slender air vent holes 38 and 48 communicating a cavity 30 with the out side of the mold 30 formed as penetrating the mold 30, and air vent pins 37 and 47 inserted as slidable in the air vent holes. A gap for passing a gas from a cavity 33 is formed between an the inner peripheral surface of the air vent pins 38 and 48 and an outer peripheral surface of the air vent pins 37 and 47 are formed.
