PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous form printer which can simplify a form setting working only with a printer engine and cancel poor printing caused by a paper size difference. SOLUTION: A bar code by which form information is recorded on the outer case of the continuous paper form is added. When the continuation paper is set in the printer, the bar code of the continuation paper form tank is read by a bar code reader attached to a printer body, and the form information is set in a printer controller from the read information.
