PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing method, in which relatively clean drain water used in a rinsing process and a drying process is cleaned and disinfected, and the cleaned water is fed for reuse in a preliminary washing process, a primary washing process, and a first-stage rinsing process. SOLUTION: In this washing method, the preliminary washing process, the primary washing process 2, the rinsing process 3, and the drying process 4 are executed in this order. Dirty water produced in the preliminary washing process 1, the primary washing process 2, and the first-stage rinsing process 3a is drained to sewage. Rinsing water used in second- and on rinsing processes 3b-3d, and drained water in the drying process 4 are stored in a water storage/treatment tank 5 to be cleaned and disinfected. The cleaned water after cleaning and disinfecting is fed for reuse in the preliminary washing process 1, the primary washing process 2, and the first-stage rinsing process 3a.
