PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner excellent in the deodorization performance to be comfortably used. SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner comprises an electric blower 2, a cleaner body 1 with a dust box unit 4 communicating with the electric blower 2 for capturing dust, wheels 6 for traveling, rotatably attached to the cleaner body 1, and a deodorizing means 3 with a deodorant 40 stored inside to be interlocked with the rotation of the wheels 6 for feeding the deodorant 40 to the dust box unit 4. As the deodorant 40 is directly fed to the dust inside the dust box unit 4 whenever the cleaner body is moved, the odor of the dust is powerfully removed. As the dust is deodorized with the deodorant 40 mixed in the dust not only when the cleaner is used but also when the cleaner is stationed, the odor retained inside the dust box unit 4 can be reduced and the odor of exhaust can be reduced when the cleaner is used next time or at the initial time of use when the odor level is especially high.
