DYNAMIC INFORMATION SEARCHING SYSTEM

A dynamic information searching system that displays, in an at-a-glance manner, the data structure of information to be searched, thereby improving the visibility of the whole information to be searched and that, during a searching process, displays information designated by a user and allows detailed information of that information, which is required by the user, to be viewed in any level state. The arrangement of information terminals (11(1-n)) is arbitrary but may reflect some kind of structure of an information space. This structure may be a physical or logical one. In a case of the physical one, an image showing the shape of such a physical entity can be additionally displayed. When any one of the information terminals is pointed to, the substance information of that information terminal is displayed in a substance information display window. In this substance information display window, there are provided a button for returning to a previous window and a button for proceeding to a next search window. In the next search window, there is arranged a group of information terminals for retrieving further detailed substance information of that substance information.
