A method and an apparatus for removing a noise from a signal are provided to remove the noise in various fields by adjusting a sampling time interval according to change of a detection object of a sensor. A method for removing a noise from a signal includes the steps of: sampling a size of the signal having the noise at predetermined time intervals(100); comparing the size value of each of the sampled signals for a predetermined time with the previous sampled value(110); selecting the sampled value if a difference of the comparison values is within a predetermined range(120); and determining an average of the selected and sampled values for the predetermined time as a representative value of the signal having the noise for the predetermined time(130). |
