A method of cultivating a golden pine tree(Pinus densiflora for aurescens Uyeki, Hwangkeumsonamu) by grafting a scion from Pinus densiflora to the rootstock of Pinus thunbergii Parl.(Haesong) is provided, which allows the seedling of Pinus thunbergii to absorb sufficient amounts of nutrients by reducing the degree of close planting and increases the survival rate of the rootstock and the success rate of Pinus densiflora cultivation. A seedling of Pinus thunbergii Parl. is transplanted at 20x15cm intervals and grown for 2 years to produce a rootstock. The scion obtained using Pinus densiflora as a mother tree is grafted to the rootstock and then fixed with grafting pliers. |
