<p>1283998 Valves GROHE HANDELS GmbH 11 Dec 1970 [11 Dec 1969] 59074/70 Heading F2V A mixing valve for hot and cold water comprises inlets 4 and 5 each terminating in a seat and closed by a corresponding valve member 13, 13 in the form of cores integral with a resilient member 10, the valve members being raised by fluid pressure to an extent determined by an undulating cam surface 18 which is rotated by knob 46, and an outlet 27 controlled by a sliding piston 36 which is reciprocated by the control knob 46 to determine the volumetric outflow. The mixing chamber 8 further communicates with a shower passage 6. A passage 47 is provided in the piston 36 to equalize the fluid pressures on its end faces.</p> |
