<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric porcelain composition containing no lead (Pb), having an excellent capacitance temperature characteristic and specific dielectric constant and also having a decreased dielectric loss. <P>SOLUTION: The dielectric porcelain composition contains as a main component a dielectric oxide which is represented by the composition formula of a(SrTiO<SB>3</SB>)+b(BaTiO<SB>3</SB>)+c(Bi<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>-xTiO<SB>2</SB>-yMgO), and in which a weight ratio of each component in the composition formula is in a region surrounded by points A to E (where, the range that a=0 is excluded) illustrated in figure 2 when represented by a triangular diagram (a, b and c) and also in which x representing a molar ratio of TiO<SB>2</SB>to Bi<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>and y representing a molar ratio of MgO to Bi<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>satisfy the relations: 0.7≤y/x≤1.5 and 1.0≤x+y≤1.8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
