<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively and rapidly manufacture a laminate having excellent mechanical characteristics and high reliability appropriate as a substrate material and protective material for nanotechnology and a structural material for micromachining. <P>SOLUTION: The laminate is manufactured by applying the flaky powder coated with a binder and unidirectionally oriented with flat faces onto the substrate and calcining the coating, then peeling the coating from the substrate and subjecting the laminate to pressing from a direction perpendicular to the flat coating surface, followed by calcining or sintering. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
