<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise generated from the ratchet mechanism of a carrier tape feed mechanism and to prevent generation of vibration in the ratchet mechanism when a carrier tape is fed. <P>SOLUTION: The tape feeder comprises a sprocket 31 for feeding a carrier tape 2, and a tape feed lever 32 coupled with the sprocket 31 through a ratchet mechanism 60. The ratchet mechanism 60 is provided with an index plate 34 rotating integrally with the sprocket 31, and a click type unidirectional clutch having a click member 46 meshing the tooth 34a of the index plate 34. The ratchet mechanism 60 is further provided with a third cam 24 driven by a motor 11 to rotate, and a back stopper 23 having a cam follower touching that cam and a click 51 meshing the tooth 34a of the index plate 34. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
