<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a layered product of sheet-shaped articles used for a liquid crystal display element in a process simpler than conventional one at low costs and moreover, with high quality. <P>SOLUTION: Two or more optical sheets 12, 14, 16 and 18 are layered, and the optical sheets are engaged with bag-shaped members 70, in two or more corner parts of a peripheral edge of the optical sheets.
