<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance method of a particulate filter which can surely remove a combustion residue by backwash air, and can prevent an increase in considerable exhaust gas pressure and the deterioration of fuel comsumption during operation, while suppressing the cost of equipment without the use of hot water, etc. <P>SOLUTION: In the maintenance of the particulate filter 4, after a filler 13 to decrease the internal volume of a passage 8 is packed into the passage 8 whose outlet is not sealed by a plug 9, backwash air 12 is blown into the passage 8 whose outlet is not sealed by the plug 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
