DRIVING DEVICE OF HYBRID VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device of a hybrid vehicle for suppressing degradation in the starting characteristic of the first power source when starting is made by giving an external force to the first power source.

SOLUTION: The device is structured so that the power of the first power source and the power of the second power source are transmitted to the vehicle wheels. A transmission with variable gear ratio is installed in the power transmitting path from the second power source to the wheels, and a rotary member of the transmission and the wheels are coupled together in such a way that the power is transmitted. The hybrid vehicle driving device includes a rotation restricting means (Steps S1 and S2) which restricts the rotation of the rotary member of the transmission at starting the first power source by giving thereto an external force.
