<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dynamically generate/delete dynamic VPN by a simple procedure, in an overlay network which provides the searching function of a DHT method. <P>SOLUTION: The data communication system comprises an authentication server 4 which authenticates terminal equipment 1 requesting connection to a specified VPN; an edge device 2 which constructs an overlay network that presents the searching function of the DHT method on an IP network, and holds a specified information for transfer process of IP packets and connection process between the terminal equipment 1 and VPN; and a VPN member management server 3 which holds specified information for managing a plurality of VPNs and the terminal equipment 1 that can be a member of VPN. The edge device 2, after establishing theoretical connection with the terminal equipment 1 requesting connection to VPN, acquires the information of VPN to which the terminal equipment 1 belongs from the VPN member management server 3, and performs connection setting process between the terminal equipment 1 and the VPN for which the terminal equipment 1 requests connection, based on the acquired VPN information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
