<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift lever device to which an additional value is added. <P>SOLUTION: A shift lever 14 is constituted free to change over between two modes of a folding state in not performing change-over operation of a gear stage of an automatic transmission and a pulled-up state in performing change-over operation of the gear stage of the automatic transmission. Additionally, a limit switch 35 is provided as a detection means to detect a form of the shift lever 14, and a control device 41 to change and control a previously set working mode of a push switch 42 as an on-vehicle apparatus in accordance with a detection signal from the limit switch 35 is provided. Consequently, the working mode of the push switch 42 is changed over by changing the mode of the shift lever 14. That is, a change of the mode of the shift lever 14 is used as a new input means to change the mode of the push switch 42 which is a specific on-vehicle apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
