PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a collision of a rotary arm against a disk loading part. SOLUTION: A disk drive unit is equipped with a device main body 3 with a top surface 6a of the main chassis 6 as a conveyance region for a disk recording medium 2, a disk loading part 23 which is disposed above the disk conveyance region through an opening part 6c of the main chassis 6 and loaded with the disk recording medium 2, and a conveyance arm 52 which is provided rotatably in a loading direction and an ejecting direction of the disk recording medium 2 above the main chassis 6 and the disk loading part 23, and the main chassis 6 has a projection part 103 onto which the conveyance arm 52 moves when the conveyance arm 52 rotates above the disk loading part 23.
